Is it true that the hammock twists when you get in?

The Hennessy lashing system naturally twists the fabric when loaded, but this is normal and part of the design. It does not affect comfort once you settle in.

Is the hammock suitable for side sleepers?

Yes, the asymmetrical design allows a diagonal lay, which is comfortable for side sleepers. The 10.5 ft length prevents calf ridge, especially for taller users.

How does it handle windy conditions?

With the included rainfly and standard stakes, it performs adequately in moderate wind (up to 20 mph). For higher winds, use extra tie-outs or a larger tarp.

Can I replace the suspension with ultralight cord?

Yes, the hammock has a continuous loop at each end, so you can attach any suspension (whoopie slings, becket hitch, etc.). This can save 3-4 oz.
