That's why this guide is a complete setup. For $600 in 2025, you can walk into the hobby with a printer that actually works, three kilograms of filament, and every accessory you need for your first month of printing.

Will this match a $1,200 Bambu Lab X1 Carbon setup? No. But it will print PLA, PETG, and even TPU with surprising quality. The trade-off is that you'll do more manual maintenance, you won't have multi-color, and you'll need to enclose the machine yourself if you ever want to print ABS cleanly.
